Relay for Life with Team Cancer Conscious Youths (TeamCCY) and the Jamaica Cancer Society

For the past couple of years I have had the pleasure of being associated with Team Cancer Conscious Youth and their efforts to increase cancer awareness among youth and raise money for the Jamaica Cancer Society. Each year, this team of dynamic young people offer up their time and effort in a labour of love, planning events like through their own efforts like the popular Purple Passion party they have the weekend before Relay for Life and a host of other initiatives. 2017, is proving to be no different.

Here’s what’s in store for 2017

The theme for 2017’s cancer awareness and fundraising efforts is “keep hope alive.” This year, Team CCY is helping the Jamaica Cancer Society raise funds for cancer research by mobilising young people in a number of ways. Here is how you can become a part.

1. Buy a T-shirt

That’s right. Team CCY has a Booster supported T-shirt campaign which sees all the money from the sales of specially designed cancer awareness T-shirts going to aid the work of the Jamaica Cancer Society. To purchase a T-shirt, go here.

Don’t want a T-shirt but still want to put your money where your mouth is? Then, keep reading.

2. Just donate

Again, supported by Booster, Team CCY has an option for you to donate to their cause aside from the T-shirt. Any amount you can donate will help. Simply follow the link and the instructions. You can donate without purchasing a T-shirt here.

3. Join Team CCY at Relay for Life

Finally, if you will be in Kingston Jamaica on June 17th, then this is the option for you. Sign up to participate in the Relay for Life event with Team CCY and raise money and make a difference that way. You may contact Team CCY here for more information.
